MUSIC VIDEO CASE STUDY - STUDIO 1 INFINITY COVE & STUDIO 2 BLACK BOX

Artist VAGALI shot some scenes for his music video 'ONLY GOD KNOWS' at both our drive-in infinity cove studio and our blackout studio.

Vagali and team made the most of the drive-in access in Studio 1 by incorporating a vehicle into their shoot, lighting the infinity cove with an iconic circle-shaped spotlight. Meanwhile the LED lighting and blackout backdrop in Studio 2 gave them a dramatic look for a completely different feel.

VAGALI's video director Michael Konov employed a range of creative techniques for the studio shoot, and even used a drone and a hoverboard to film some of the more complex shots. He also used the Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4.6k for a professional outcome with an easy-to-use set-up.

To achieve the unique look with lighting in the infinity cove they used a selection of lighting including some great Aputure lights, hired through our in-house equipment rental company Klatch Kit:
